Wildfire 2024 Representative Teams

Congratulations to the players nominated below to their Representative teams for the 2024 Metro Junior and Waratah Senior League seasons. 

​

All successful nominations will receive their offers via email. Acceptances of offers are required back to: reps@wildfirebasketball.org.au within 48 hours (by Wednesday 8th November 2023). U12s nominated players will be advised in due course as trials are continuing.

​

Nominated players who are accepting their positions on their respective teams are requested to attend our Wildfire Orientation Day on Sunday 19th November 2023.

​

Thank you to all players who registered to trial for Wildfire this year, it was a difficult decision for our Selection Panels given the talent that attended. We hope you continue to train hard and return for our 2025 Representative program trials next year.

Parents & Players will have 48 hours to respond if they are committing to Wildfire for the 2024 season.

2024 Season Fees - Metro Junior League

​

Squad/Player: $850.00

Development Player: $550.00

​

2024 Season Fees - Waratah Senior League 

​

Squad/Player: $1,000.00

Development Player: $750.00

​

For the 2024 Rep Season, new Representative Players will be required to purchase their own (personalised) Representative Jerseys. Players will also be required to purchase the Wildfire Rep Game Day Shorts and Warm Up Top (if they do not already have one).

Prices for 2024 Representative Uniform is as follows:
Reversible Wildfire (Personalised w/Surname & number) - $55.00
Wildfire Game Day Basketball Shorts - $35.00
Wildfire Warm Up Top - $30.00
Wildfire Hoodie (Optional) - $60.00 (no other hoodies will be permissible prior to Rep games)

All Representative Players would also be required to attend Rep team training sessions in Wildfire authorised training jerseys and shorts only - no other brands/Associations/School uniforms permitted.

​

*It is a requirement all players selected in a MJL or Development Program team must be playing in one of Wildfire Basketball local competitions.

Transfer Rules (Metro Junior League):

​

Players who previously played representative basketball at another association must complete the BNSW Intent to Trial form HERE.
If the Intent to Trial form is not completed, the player will not be allowed to trial.
 

Wildfire Basketball can accept a maximum of two transfers from another Representative Association from the Metro Junior League, per age group. Players who have moved into the Wildfire catchment area can apply for special consideration, to not be classified as being a transfer.

NSW Clearance Forms (Waratah Senior League Only):
If selected into a Wildfire Representative team, a NSW Clearance form will need to be lodged with the player’s prior Association. Please note that clearances are subject to approval by the previous Association and can be rejected for matters such as outstanding fees.
